One observer remarked on how many of the Democrats took to wearing purple in the aftermath of Jan 6th, so this may have been The Purple Revolution (as Orange had already been taken in Ukraine.)
This explains why Pelosi refused to release the footage of the days events - it would have shown the protestors herded and goaded like cattle. If there had been a genuine attempt at insurrection, the footage would have flooded the media 24/7. The little that was released was cherry-picked to feed the narrative.
If Tucker Carlson and his team can gather the key points of the footage and arrange them in a coherent fashion, This will become obvious to all and completely undeniable.
I watched that timcast episode last night and I've seen Miller on warroom recently. I agree with him on the separation of powers and resignation in protest not happening where and when it should. However, his take on US support of Ukraine without acknowledging provocation by NATO is a deal killer to me.
This entire ‘interview’ is just another Nothing Burger. The J6 commission narrative is not and was never that a “military coup” was underway at Jan 6. I don’t know where in the world that straw man comes from. The J6 narrative is that the objective of the attack on the capitol was to usurp the power of Congress, the VP and to interrupt the transition of power by stopping the certification. The fact that Miller claims “he would have resigned” if Trump refused to leave means absofuckinglutely nothing. It’s just totally irrelevant to anything, a complete hypothetical.
That is true, but incomplete. Congress had already been evacuated due to pipe bombs allegedly being found at the RNC and DNC headquarters. The 'bomber' has never been identified, and the released footage bizarrely has the low resolution and frame rate of an 80s gas station CCTV, along with with unexplained gaps and bad angles. The failure to identify and arrest an actual terrorist bomber is incongruous in the light of the fact that protestors were identified and prosecuted simply for being present in the area.
The process of evacuation seems to have been designed to strike terror into the politicians. They appear to genuinely believe that they were about to be assassinated, and such primal fear would definitely act as a lens through which they evaluated the day's events, so it appears that they were being manipulated just as much as the protestors outside.
Even so, if the protestors had genuinely intended to sabotage the certification of the election on Jan 6th, it would have been a futile act, as the certification could simply have been completed a day or two later. In short, I don't think the motive attributed to them makes any sense.
