Robert F. Kennedy Jr., independent candidate for President of the United States, suspended his campaign on Friday and through his endorsement behind Donald Trump.
In a lengthy, powerful, and emotional speech, the son of the late Robert F. Kennedy explained that he is removing his name from the ballot in ten battleground states out of fear that he would play “spoiler” for Donald Trump.
“I would like everyone to know that I am not terminating my campaign, I am simply suspending it and not ending it,” Kennedy said in Arizona. “My name will remain on the ballot in most states.”
RFK Jr. also explained why he is endorsing Trump in poignant remarks that are a scathing indictment of the modern Democratic Party.
