If people can not see the writing on the wall, written in HUGE BLOCK LETTERS (!), that these companies can not be trusted, should not be used, and should be boycotted, then we are truly a herd of ignorant lemmings headed for the proverbial cliff.
I tried to delete my paypal account but I couldn't due to so-called pending transactions. No such transactions exist. So I did the next best thing - I removed my banking information and any other information that I could. I'd still like to delete my account and will keep trying.

We need alternatives to paypal and venmo, but since they are offered "free" it will be hard to build a community of alternative options.
