BIG PERSONAL NEWS

"Today is the end of a long road. It is also the start of a new journey."

Today is the end of a long road. It is also the start of a new journey.

I have achieved a big dream of mine and have published my first book.

It’s coming out in bookstores and is launching on Amazon today. I hope you get a chance to take a look.

It’s a fantasy novel called “Hypernea: The Cursed Kingdom.” I was inspired to write it during the Covid pandemic, when I saw children struggling with isolation in a world gripped by fear.

History was being erased. Propaganda bombarded society. There was a profound sense of alienation. People could not tell the truth from lies. And worst of all, their potential was slowly being crushed.

In this book, a lonely prince is blamed for the “curse” that has befallen his kingdom. He is forced to make an excruciating choice — death or exile. He is cast out on an adventure where he meets outcasts from nearby fallen kingdoms.

A heartbroken moondrake who lost everything.

A brave griffin striving to save his republic from high treason.

A boisterous fairy driven from her idyllic realm into a devastated world.

Led by a sorcerer whose most powerful spell reveals the truth.

Prince Sigismund is armed only with a last-minute gift from his mother, a mysterious crystal shard allowing him to tap into “The Could-Be.”

He must ultimately confront the ultimate source of the “curse” — an insidious force that threatens to undo all of existence: The Never-Was.

If you’re a fan of the epic sweep of The Lord of the Rings, the high politics of Game of Thrones, and the imaginative storytelling of The Chronicles of Narnia, then I’m sure you’d enjoy “Hypernea: The Cursed Kingdom.”

You can read a sample here, check out some great art, and watch the book trailer.

There is a deluxe illustrated hardcover version in development, complete with 100 color illustrations and custom epigraphs for each chapter.

If you get a chance to check out this first book in “The Fallen Empires” series, I humbly invite you to leave a review on Amazon or Goodreads. This would really help.

Thank you for supporting my work throughout all of these years. I hope this book can play a small role inspiring people to pursue truth, beauty, and justice in the world.
