Who is Behind the Radical Left's Wave of Attacks on Elon Musk?

Coordinated assaults on Elon Musk and his enterprises are escalating in the wake of the Department of Government Efficiency taking a “chainsaw” to government programs that fund activist groups and their dubious enterprises around the world.

As Jonathan Choe reported on X, Teslas are being torched in protest of Musk’s DOGE activities.

It is not a complete coincidence that Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Monday announced that 83% of USAID programs were in the process of being dismantled. The Democratic Party’s radical activism and fundraising arms are being dismembered and its client groups are mobilizing in furious and even destructive retaliation.

This weekend and into Monday, Musk’s businesses came under a heavy assault. MSNBC seemed to presage the coming storm by mocking a Space X rocket bursting into flames after launch.

The giddy hosts smirked and giggled with schadenfreude about the rocket disaster, as if it were a metaphor for the fate they desired for Musk’s companies:

“For Elon, his his response to all of this was ‘rockets are hard.’ And Mr. Musk, if they’re so hard, why don’t you go back to your day job and work that out and leave those of us who do government to do government, because you can’t do both.”

An unscripted moment of abject hate for Musk or predictive programming for the planned anti-Musk protests?

Tesla owners around the world are now bearing the brunt of an orchestrated pressure campaign to coax and intimidate them to sell their electric vehicles.

So much for saving the planet — there’s a government gravy train to protect!

At the same time, a mystery has arisen about the producer of professionally designed flyers comparing Musk to Hitler that seem tailor-made to incite violence.

The flyer was posted on Reddit and received over 22,000 upvotes, as @Redditlies originally noted on X. It appears to have been removed at 24,000 upvotes.

It goes without saying that this attack campaign is fueled by a media hoax. A coordinated smear campaign reinforced the obvious lie that Musk was giving a Nazi salute instead of ‘giving his heart out to the audience,’ while ignoring similar arm gestures from the likes of Kamala Harris and even Bill Nye ‘the Science guy.’

The smear campaign is apparently having the intended effect: Tesla owners are being intimidated and vehicles are bursting into flames at dealerships.

Seattle Fire Dept. is investigating the source of the fire, but King5 notes the blazes come amidst anti-DOGE protests.

On Monday, an anti-DOGE protester in Washington D.C. summed up the unhinged reaction of federal bureaucrats being asked to simply account for how their jobs add value to Americans’ lives.

Also at one of the Anti-DOGE demonstrations, a protester appeared to admit that he was being paid to be there.

“You really are getting paid for this?” he was asked.

“Absolutely. Definitely. 100% I’m getting paid for this,” he replied.

No one should be surprised by this. But after the USAID funding dried up, it seems like these sporadic radical protests ‘ain’t what they used to be.’

Who is Behind the Anti-DOGE Protests?

Researchers are starting to connect the dots on the usual suspects behind the anti-Musk campaign.

On Monday, X itself came under a huge cyberattack that caused multiple reported outages.

The group thought to be behind the cyberattacks is believed to be a Pro-Palestinian group called “Dark Storm Team.”

As Libs of Tik Tok remarked on X: “What are the chances that this X outage is a targeted, coordinated attack against Elon by r-tarded Leftists??? They saw that burning down his Tesla locations wouldn’t stop him from saving our country so they’re trying to destroy X now.”

Elon Musk commented:

There was (still is) a massive cyberattack against 𝕏. We get attacked every day, but this was done with a lot of resources. Either a large, coordinated group and/or a country is involved. Tracing …

A Newsweek report provided further substantiation that Dark Storm Team may be behind the attack. The group is reported to be connected to “Pro-Palestinian” causes.

Check Point Research (CPR), a cyber threat research team, has told Newsweek that The Dark Storm Team, a pro-Palestinian cyberattack group known for launching Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, has resurfaced after a period of inactivity. The group primarily targets Western entities, including those in the United States, Ukraine, the UAE, and Israel.

Over the past month, the Dark Storm Team has successfully attacked critical infrastructure, including Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Haifa Port in Israel, and the UAE's Ministry of Defense. In a statement, CPR highlighted the group's role in destabilizing digital platforms, including the recent assault on X, underscoring the need for enhanced cybersecurity for social media platforms, which are vital to global communication.

Elon Musk asked who was behind the Tesla protests and provided a shortlist of suspects.

An investigation has found 5 ActBlue-funded groups responsible for Tesla “protests”: Troublemakers, Disruption Project, Rise & Resist, Indivisible Project and Democratic Socialists of America.

ActBlue funders include George Soros, Reid Hoffman, Herbert Sandler, Patricia Bauman, and Leah Hunt-Hendrix.

It should be noted that one of the major actors that is involved in the #TeslaTakedown is a group called Troublemakers. This is from its website:

Researcher Walter Curt also believes he has a lead: The Indivisible Activist Group.

In an extensive Substack article, he lays out the case that the ActBlue backed group is among those radical groups who can be tied to the Tesla attacks:

On the morning of February 24, 2025, employees at a Tesla dealership in Loveland, Colorado, arrived to find shattered windows, graffiti scrawled across the entrance, and crude incendiary devices abandoned near the lot. The vandalism wasn’t random—it was part of a growing wave of protests targeting Elon Musk, fueled by the activist network Indivisible. For weeks, Indivisible chapters across the country had staged coordinated demonstrations at Tesla showrooms, branding Musk an “enemy of democracy” for his role in the Trump administration.

This wasn’t the first time Indivisible had mobilized against a high-profile target. Born from the ashes of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 defeat, the group quickly evolved from a digital resistance handbook into a national protest machine, capable of flooding town halls, hijacking political narratives, and crippling opponents through relentless pressure campaigns. Bankrolled by Democratic mega-donors like George Soros and Reid Hoffman, Indivisible operates as a well-funded extension of the left’s political apparatus, leveraging ActBlue’s massive fundraising network to bankroll its disruption efforts.

Indivisible pounced on this development, framing it in dire terms. On its website, Indivisible declared, “Donald Trump and Elon Musk are staging a coup. Full stop.” The group launched a campaign hub called “Stop the Trump-Musk Coup,” rallying supporters to resist what they characterized as Trump handing control of government functions to an unelected billionaire crony. Indivisible’s messaging cast Musk as a grave threat – accusing him of “holding the government’s financial infrastructure hostage” after Musk was given access to U.S. Treasury systems, and warning that he and Trump were shredding laws and defunding social programs.

ActBlue itself is under major heat as seven high-level staffers have jumped ship.

As for Reid Hoffman, he supports Indivisible. While he rationalized the anti-DOGE protesters’ destructive attacks on Musk’s companies he denied any association.

While there may certainly be cause to investigate the other radical groups Musk named for alleged coordinated activities against Tesla and X, an examination of Indivisible Civics in particular shows the usual left-wing scam of a partisan activist group (see PAC donors) with a “non-profit” arm under the same seedy umbrella.

If one examines the leadership and the board of Indivisible Civics, one name stands out: Fatima Goss Graves.

You might recall that Fatima Goss Graves is the wife of J6 prosecutor Matthew Graves — and they make for one of the most notorious “anti-MAGA” power couples out there.

The National Women’s Law Center is a beneficiary of some of the richest foundations in the world; the Ford Foundation, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation are listed as donors in a report by InfluenceWatch. The Tides Foundation, heavily funded by global activist George Soros, has donated at least $45,000 to the NWLC since 2017.

If you take a look at the big picture of Indivisible Civics and its networked NGOs, you see major players such as the Silicon Valley Community Foundation and the Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisers.

It appears that all of the Democratic Party’s major power players in the radical NGO space are tied directly or indirectly to anti-DOGE protests directed at Elon Musk.

The shadow government that was unfettered under the previous Biden administration is concurrently under attack as massive NGOs ranging from the National Endowment for Democracy to the International Republican Institute to the National Democratic Institute are under siege.

An MSNBC guest made a veiled threat suggesting a coordinated political campaign against Musk emanating from the highest levels of the Democratic Party.

It is now as if these leftist power players have suddenly decided “if we’re going down, we’re taking you with us.”

That is what happens when you actually “speak truth to power.” It is also how you know that Elon Musk, and his boss Donald Trump, are over the target.
