Whistleblower: Canadian Doctors are Being Directed to Consider Psychiatric Meds and Therapy for 'Unvaccinated'
"This is extremely unethical and this is a very, very slippery slope."
A Canadian doctor is blowing the whistle on a reported letter sent from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario to doctors directing them to consider psychotropic medications and therapy for those who do not wish to take the Covid shots.
"Dr. William Makis states that the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario 🇨🇦 is suggesting to Ontario doctors that 'unvaccinated' people are mentally ill and in need of psychiatric medication," Paul Mitchell noted on Twitter.
"So, this has come out recently," Dr. Makis said at a "Let Freedom Reign Tour" event. "Out of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. The college sent out a letter or a memo to all the doctors in Ontario suggesting to them — now, so far, they're not mandating it, they're just suggesting it — that any of their unvaccinated patients that they should consider that they have a mental problem and that they should be put on psychiatric medication."
"So far, it's just a suggestion, but the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario should not be making these kinds of suggestions," Makis added. "This is extremely unethical and this is a very, very slippery slope. If they're suggesting that people who wish to have bodily autonomy and, and don't want an experimental vaccine, that there may be something mentally wrong with them, that is a very, very dangerous slippery slope."
While a copy of the leaked email was not immediately available, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario's own website backs up what Dr. Makis is claiming.
"It is also important that physicians work with their patients to manage anxieties related to the vaccine and not enable avoidance behaviour," the website states. "For example, for extreme fear of needles (trypanophobia) or other cases of serious concern, responsible use of prescription medications and/or referral to psychotherapy may be available options. Overall, physicians have a responsibility to allow their patients to be properly informed about vaccines and not have those anxieties empowered by an exemption."
However, while the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario is instructing doctors to properly inform patients about Covid-19 and the mRNA shots, the website contains demonstrable misinformation.
"Having a fully vaccinated health-care profession is critical to minimizing the risk of COVID-19 transmission and/or outbreaks in offices, clinics and hospitals," the website states. "Even if you do not feel sick, asymptomatic infection and subsequent transmission is possible. The COVID-19 vaccine reduces your chance of becoming infected and is one of the best ways to control the spread of the virus, and so getting vaccinated is an essential step to protecting your own health, the health of your patients, and the community at large."
This is false. Covid shots do not significantly slow or stop the spread of the virus. As a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report from August 2021 makes clear:
"In July 2021, following multiple large public events in a Barnstable County, Massachusetts, town, 469 COVID-19 cases were identified among Massachusetts residents who had traveled to the town during July 3–17; 346 (74%) occurred in fully vaccinated persons. Testing identified the Delta variant in 90% of specimens from 133 patients," the CDC states. "Cycle threshold values were similar among specimens from patients who were fully vaccinated and those who were not."
These "breakthrough infections" also pertain to the latest bivalent boosters, per a top Chicago doctor. According to the CDC's seroprevalence data, 97% of Americans have been exposed to the SARS-CoV-2 virus and have acquired nucleocapsid antibodies.
Can Canadian patients bring legal (not Board) malpractice charges against doctors (indoctrinators) and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario?
At this point I need a doctor to simply perscribe me medication. Advice? Unless imaging confirms it, I have no time for what is becoming quackery.
