Judge Juan Merchan informed attorneys on Friday that a comment was placed on the court's Facebook page claiming that Trump "is getting convicted" in a post made the day before the jury revealed its verdict.
On May 30, Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg's selective and vindictive prosecution of a former president for the purposes of election interference led to Trump's conviction on 34 charges of falsifying company records.
According to the judge's letter, a responder on a May 29 post regarding a "routine UCS notice" expressed knowledge of his upcoming conviction.
