'TOTAL ROUT': Republicans Are Destroying Democrats in the Redistricting Map Battle
The bloodbath is so bad that Democrats are now comparing this to a second “civil war.”
The Democrats started it, but the Republicans are now finishing it. The redistricting map battle is on and the GOP is absolutely crushing its political nemesis.
You can hear the crying and wailing and gnashing of teeth. For once, the GOP is tuning it out.
That’s because Blue states have been gerrymandering their districts for decades, so much so that New England states have an impressive 27 Democrats in the House to the Republicans zero.
To quote Le Fraud: “Not you. Not you. You don’t say that. You the only person here ain’t allowed to say that.”
Ever since Virginia attempted to force through a highly gerrymandered map that would have delivered a 10-1 Democrat advantage, the Republicans have been on the redistricting warpath. Mind you, this followed on the heels of Newsom’s own campaign to remove all Republican representation possible in California,
The Republicans didn’t declare war. They simply woke up and realized they were at war. And then they finally responded. The results thus far have been incredible.
