Trump’s Improbable Election Victory Sends Left Reeling

Donald Trump’s political enemies will recognize no “honeymoon” period and have launched a counter-assault on the president’s authority to reform the U.S. government.

President Trump was elected in sweeping fashion — winning the popular vote and taking all of the major swing states — a victory that was made all the more astounding due to the political forces bent on preventing him from returning to the White House.

It has been a whirlwind three weeks since Trump was sworn into office. The vigorous president has unloaded an onslaught of executive orders virtually unseen in American history.

President Trump has already signed at least 75 executive orders, and 27 memos or proclamations, according to Axios research.

These executive orders span the political spectrum, ranging from climate to transgender issues to foreign policy to reforming the federal government.

It has been like Christmas morning every day for Trump’s supporters since he returned to the Oval Office. In particular, the provocative actions of the Department of Government Efficiency, otherwise known as DOGE, have proven to be the most incendiary point of contention for the D.C. power structure and its activist clientele.

Donald Trump’s special adviser, Elon Musk, not only initiated a freeze of federal funding so as to undertake an audit of government payments, but he publicized his team’s findings on his extremely influential social media platform X.

As I know personally, Elon Musk has been gathering tips from independent journalists on X. After I uncovered government purchases of Politico Pro subscriptions (as well as payments to the Associated Press), Elon Musk said bluntly that he would

The radical left was put on the defensive and locked into a public relations doom spiral. DOGE’s attacks on the unelected bureaucracy, naturally unpopular with taxpaying Americans, put the left in the untenable position of defending the indefensible.

Enter the activist judges.

The last week has revealed to us all that the lawfare against Donald J. Trump and his supporters never stopped. It merely took a hiatus in the wake of the 2024 election.

The Left’s War on Transparency

On Thursday, 14 far-left Attorneys General filed a lawsuit against President Trump and his government efficiency team, known as DOGE, led by Elon Musk.

Their claim? That Musk—one of the most brilliant innovators of our time—is wielding unchecked power because his team is uncovering and exposing fraud and waste within the U.S. government.

Democrats have made it clear: they are against exposing corruption. Since DOGE began its audit, leftist activists have launched protests and issued threats against Musk and Trump for daring to reveal government spending abuses that already total billions of dollars.

The lawsuit has landed in the hands of Judge Tanya Chutkan, a notorious anti-Trump Obama appointee.

“One of the two lawsuits seeking to invalidate Elon Musk's role in the government has been assigned to ... Tanya Chutkan,” Kyle Cheney reported.

What are the odds?
