The CDC Finally Concedes That Natural Immunity is Superior to Vaccinated Immunity
Natural immunity also lasted longer than mRNA vaccination plus boosters, according to the study.
A major study published at the Journal of Infectious Diseases that comes more than three years into the Covid pandemic concedes what critics of the global pandemic response and vaccine mandates have been saying all along: Natural immunity from prior infection is superior to vaccinated immunity in nearly all aspects for the majority of people.
The medical study titled, "Protection from COVID-19 mRNA vaccination and prior SARS-CoV-2 infection against COVID-19–associated encounters in adults during Delta and Omicron predominance," was peformed by dozens of accredited medical researchers and was accepted for publication in the Journal of Infectious Diseases this past week.
The lead author Catherine Bozio, PhD. , is a member of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention COVID-19 Emergency Response Team in Atlanta, Georgia. The study was funded by the CDC.
Natural immunity, or postinfection immunity, was shown to provide 76 percent protection against Covid-19-associated hospitalizations during the Omicron surge, the researchers found. The Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, both using mRNA technology, provided just 39 percent protection for those without a prior infection.
Natural immunity also lasted longer than mRNA vaccination plus boosters, according to the study. During the Omicron surge, natural immunity protection against hospitalization was 74 percent for 150 or more days after infection. A primary vaccine series without prior infection provided just 39 percent protection beyond 149 days after the final shot. Three doses initially provided 81 percent protection but this faded to just 31 percent after 150 or more days following the last shot.
The CDC in its study conceded that scientific data and analysis of natural immunity during the Covid pandemic was "limited." However, Dr. Marty Makary of Johns Hopkins University in October 2021 undertook research on natural immunity with the aim of forcing the CDC's hand to publish more research on the long-established natural phenomenon.
"My Johns Hopkins research team is leading a long-term study of natural immunity because the NIH and CDC are not doing it," Makary tweeted. "They have $50 billion and 30,000 employees and yet can't seen to conduct one of the most important studies we need done to inform the public."
“The NIH should be doing a long-term study of natural immunity instead of torturing thousands of beagle puppies, including cutting their voice box to avoid barking sounds (sick),” he also said. “All taxpayer funded. All our health agencies need fresh new leadership.”
In February 2022, Johns Hopkins produced the fruit of that research. Unsurprisingly, it showed that natural immunity was superior to vaccinated immunity againt Covid-19.
The charts included in the study reveal that for three different types of antibodies, about 95% of people with prior infections retained all three. 99% of those with natural immunity retained the anti-RBD positive antibody.
Most importantly of all, this is clear indisputable evidence that natural immunity is far more durable than vaccinated immunity: The Covid protection lasted for 650 days with no noticeable decline.
The New England Journal of Medicine in June 2022 published a study that natural immunity is real and it is more effective than vaccinated immunity alone.
Natural immunity “protection was higher than that conferred after the same time had elapsed since receipt of a second dose of vaccine among previously uninfected persons,” the study concluded.
A comparison of the three cohorts can be seen in the chart below. It shows that the unvaccinated cohort with natural immunity had comparable re-infection rates with those who had hybrid immunity. Natural immunity was far superior to vaccinated immunity alone.
“Infection with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) provides natural immunity against reinfection,” the study added, noting the “waning of the immunity provided by” Pfizer’s shots.
“Natural immunity wins again,” Dr. Makary tweeted, referring to the NEJM study.
Even though the CDC study showed that natural immunity from prior infection was superior to vaccinated immunity alone, the public health body continued to insist that everyone remain "up to date" on the Covid mRNA boosters, regardless of age or health status.
"Our findings continue to highlight the benefit of staying up-to-date with recommended COVID-19 vaccination schedules, regardless of SARS-CoV-2 infection history," the CDC insisted.
The CDC thus neglects the known side effects of the Covid vaccines and the role doctors play in guiding patients' health outcomes. The public health agency continues to push one-size-fits-all policies for the American public in defiance of the scientific research and the overwhelming amount of data that show there are immense differences in patient profiles that strongly suggest much different health proscriptions.
Healthy children, for example, are at statistically insignificant risk from Covid-19. For those under age of 50 with natural immunity from prior infection, the risk from Covid-19 is infinitesimal. Fewer than 0.1 percent of the global population has been recorded as having died a Covid-associated death.
