President Joe Biden, Months After Saying Covid is 'Over,' Finally Declares When Pandemic 'Emergency' Will End
"In early January, the Biden administration continued its Covid 'emergency' until at least April while misleading the public with false claims the Covid shots slow transmission of the virus."
President Joe Biden in September stated in an interview that Covid is "over."
But after the White House did damage control for the nominal "commander-in-chief," it turned out that time would come much later. Much, much later. Try May 2023.
That's when Biden is prognosticating the SARS-CoV-2 virus will have become endemic (note: it already is) and will no longer pose a threat (95% plus have natural immunity and/or vaccinated immunity, per the CDC Director months ago) and thus we Americans can presumably resume a form of "normal" life until the authoritarian government gins up its next crisis.
Biden's rationale for ending the crisis in May, instead of right away, was covered by the White House stenographers at the New York Times:
The Biden administration plans to let the coronavirus public health emergency expire in May, the White House said on Monday, a sign that federal officials believe the pandemic has moved into a new, less dire phase.
The White House wants to keep the emergency in place for several more months so hospitals, health providers and health officials can prepare for a host of changes that will come when it ends, officials said. Millions of Americans have received free Covid tests, treatments and vaccines during the pandemic, and not all of that will continue to be free once the emergency is declared over.
An average of more than 500 Americans are still dying daily from Covid. But at the three-year mark, the coronavirus is no longer upending everyday life to the extent it once did, partly because much of the population has at least some protection against the virus from vaccinations and prior infections.
Still, the White House said on Monday that the nation needed an orderly transition out of the public health emergency. The administration said it also intended to allow a separate declaration of a national emergency to expire in May.
In early January, the Biden administration continued its Covid 'emergency' until at least April via the TSA requirement that all non-citizen travelers to the US be "fully vaccinated" for the virus.
The Emergency Amendment rested on the false argument that the mRNA shots significantly reduce infection and transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
"To implement the Proclamation, TSA issued this Emergency Amendment (EA), which canceled and superseded the EA 1546-20-01 series, in accordance with 49 CFR part 1546. Together with the Presidential Proclamation and the CDC Order, these policies are intended to limit the risk that COVID-19, including variants of the virus that causes COVID-19, is introduced, transmitted, and spread into and throughout the United States, potentially overwhelming United States healthcare and public health resources, endangering the health and safety of the American people, and threatening the security of our civil aviation system.”
In October, the New York Supreme Court ruled that vaccines do not significantly stop the spread of Covid-19, thereby rendering the state's vaccine mandates moot.
New York's public workers had to be rehired and given back pay, the court found.
In its ruling, the court determined that "being vaccinated does not prevent an individual from contracting or transmitting COVID-19."
A judge in a lawsuit against the federal CMS Medicare vaccine mandate for health workers came to the same conclusion.
New scientific research shows that the vaccinated are more than twice as likely to be infected with Covid-19 than those who had a prior infection. The American Public Health Association published an article revealing that the false claim mRNA shots stop the spread of Covid-19 is worse than misleading — it is precisely the opposite.
“Six months after the index date, the incidence of SARS-CoV-2 infection was significantly higher in vaccine recipients (6.7%) than the previously infected (2.9%),” the researchers found.
The Washington Post drove another nail in the “pandemic of the unvaccinated” coffin with its analysis that the majority of Americans dying from Covid-19 were at one point “fully vaccinated.”
“For the first time, a majority of Americans dying from the coronavirus received at least the primary series of the vaccine,” the Post analysis stated.
As reported earlier, the CDC tracks the seroprevalence of nucleocapsid antibodies, an indicator of natural immunity from prior infection, on its serohub.
The U.S. is now at over 99% seroprevalence for SARS-CoV-2, meaning near-universal exposure to the virus despite vaccine mandates, mask mandates and lockdowns.
Biden stated ‘the nation needed an orderly transition out of the public health emergency.’ Too bad he didn’t have this attitude when he withdrew from Afghanistan, even when military officials tried to advise him otherwise. No orderly transition of power, just ran out and turned over to the Taliban. His covid response has been two years of unnecessary emergency orders and billions wasted. His mandates for federal employees, contractors, and military had nothing to do with health/safety, but a power grab for control. Over two years of this horrendous administration wrecking our nation.
good article except no one has immunity from the vax, they just have damage
