It Comes Out Who Adam Schiff Was 'Likely' Leaking Classified Information To — This is a BOMBSHELL
“In this meeting, SCHIFF stated the group would leak classified information which was derogatory to President of the United States DONALD J. TRUMP..."
Newly declassified FBI interview reports are reigniting long-running allegations that former Democratic Congressman, now U.S. Senator, Adam Schiff approved the leaking of classified information during the politically charged Trump–Russia investigation.
And it appears that Schiff’s leaks have been traced to the likely conduit for the classified information on Russiagate. It is a bombshell.
The documents, obtained by Just The News, detail the account of an unidentified whistleblower described as a Democratic intelligence officer who worked for the House Intelligence Committee during Schiff’s tenure.
According to the records, this individual repeatedly told the FBI over the course of interviews from 2017 to as recently as 2023 that Schiff authorized the release of classified materials with the goal of politically harming then-President Donald Trump.
At the time of the alleged leaks, Schiff served as the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee and later became its chairman. The whistleblower claimed that Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell of California was likely the direct source of the leaked material, and that the content was carefully chosen to advance the “Russiagate” narrative — the theory that Trump’s 2016 campaign conspired with Russian officials to influence the outcome of the election.
In one of the declassified FBI summaries, the whistleblower recalled an all-staff meeting called by Schiff. “In this meeting, SCHIFF stated the group would leak classified information which was derogatory to President of the United States DONALD J. TRUMP,” the report says. “SCHIFF stated the information would be used to indict President TRUMP.”
The whistleblower further claimed Schiff had been promised the position of CIA Director if Hillary Clinton had won the 2016 presidential election. That position never materialized after Clinton’s defeat, but the source alleges Schiff pressed forward with an aggressive leak strategy designed to undermine the new administration. According to the whistleblower, they personally witnessed Schiff approve such leaks and reported their concerns to the FBI.
The newly declassified records indicate that Justice Department officials showed little interest in pursuing an investigation into Schiff’s alleged role. The whistleblower says they were abruptly fired after alerting the Bureau.
Schiff has consistently denied any improper disclosure of classified material, calling such allegations partisan attempts to discredit his oversight work. The new records, however, are notable because they place Schiff personally at the center of the decision-making process, rather than suggesting that any leaks came from rogue staffers acting independently.
The latest twist came Monday when investigative journalist Paul Sperry of RealClearInvestigations suggested Schiff’s leaks may have been directed to Washington Post national security reporter Ellen Nakashima.
Sperry cited past reporting and declassified records portraying Nakashima as a favored outlet for high-level intelligence leaks. According to Sperry’s review, former CIA Director John Brennan and other intelligence officials used Nakashima’s reporting to push at least three major Russia-related stories between 2016 and 2017.
Why is this a “bombshell”? Because if classified information can be linked to Nakashima’s stories and can be sourced to Schiff, then the senator is in bigtime trouble.
We’re talking — in a just world — federal charges. Removal from Congress. Handcuffs. Orange jumpsuits. The works.
WaPo’s stories helped shape public perception that Trump’s campaign was under serious suspicion of collusion with Moscow, a narrative that persisted for years despite Special Counsel Robert Mueller ultimately concluding in 2019 that there was insufficient evidence to charge any Trump associate with conspiring with the Russian government.
The allegations against Schiff arrive in the context of his broader political history, which is already marked by deep partisan controversy. Throughout Trump’s presidency, Schiff was one of the administration’s most aggressive critics, frequently making television appearances where he claimed to have seen evidence of collusion between Trump and Russia that was “more than circumstantial.”
These claims became a focal point of Republican criticism after the Mueller report failed to substantiate them. Schiff also played a central role in defending the FBI’s use of the Steele dossier in its FISA applications to surveil former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, even after the Justice Department’s Inspector General identified significant errors and omissions in the process.
Schiff’s profile rose even higher during Trump’s first impeachment in 2019, where he served as lead House impeachment manager. His handling of the Ukraine impeachment proceedings drew both praise from Democrats and fierce criticism from Republicans, especially after he paraphrased and embellished parts of Trump’s July 2019 call with Ukraine’s president during a House hearing.
He was also accused by GOP lawmakers of selectively releasing information from closed-door Intelligence Committee hearings while blocking disclosures that might have undermined the Democratic narrative.
The whistleblower’s allegations, if true, would represent a significant escalation from partisan messaging into potentially unlawful conduct. Federal law strictly prohibits members of Congress or their staff from knowingly authorizing or directing the unauthorized disclosure of classified information.
The House’s own ethics rules explicitly forbid such actions without proper declassification and authorization. Critics argue that the mere perception of a senior Intelligence Committee member weaponizing classified material for political purposes erodes public trust in Congress’s ability to safeguard national security information.
The Mueller investigation may have ended without a conspiracy charge, but the political battle over the origins and conduct of the Russia probe continues to this day.
Schiff’s misconduct could fall within the jurisdiction of the Senate Ethics Committee now that he is in the upper chamber, though such inquiries are rare and often lack transparency. There is also the possibility of renewed calls for the Justice Department to investigate, although millions of Americans are impatiently awaiting action on that front.
As for the Washington Post, it falls further into disgrace. It has long laundered Washington’s dirtiest secrets, and in this case, a vicious rumor that was completely made up out of whole cloth.
Bolshevik schiff is a typical scumbag.
