Ilhan Omar Faces Subpoena for Immigration Records as Trump's Deportation Effort Picks Up Steam
"Federal marriage fraud and knowingly entering a marriage to evade immigration laws is a serious felony punishable by prison time..."
Ilhan Omar, the radical representative from Minnesota, is center stage in the expanding probe into Somali-based welfare fraud in the Great Lakes state.
On Wednesday, Omar was hit with unwelcome news: A House Oversight Committee effort to probe the suspect marriage records of the congresswoman.
Despite long-standing allegations that Omar “married her brother” in order to defraud U.S. immigration authorities, the allegation has not been officially proven.
House Republicans intend to put an end to that.
