Dr. Fauci Threatened with Prosecution and Jail After Bombshell Report Reveals He Misled America on Covid Origins
"Dr. Fauci has done more damage than any bureaucrat in the history of our nation."
Dr. Anthony Fauci is under fire after a new bombshell report reveals in detail how he misled America on the origins of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Now, Senators are calling for him to be prosecuted and jailed.
The House's Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic Members has uncovered evidence that Dr. Anthony Fauci, former Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the nation's top Covid authority, abused his influence to sway researchers away from the "lab leak theory" of the origins of SARS-CoV-2, misled Congress about his role in this investigation, and indeed may have been a principle author of the now-infamous paper, "The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2."
The House subcommittee on March 5 issued a memorandum on its findings that Dr. Fauci had inappropriately influenced the Covid origins researchers, contrary to the researchers' assertions to the contrary. The memorandum states as follows:
The evidence available to the Select Subcommittee suggests that Dr. Anthony Fauci “prompted” Dr. Kristian Andersen, Professor, Scripps Research (Scripps), to write Proximal Origin and that the goal was to “disprove” any lab leak theory.
On August 18, 2021, Scripps responded to then-Committee on Oversight and Reform Ranking Member, James Comer, and then-Committee on the Judiciary Ranking Member, Jim Jordan’s, July 29, 2021, letter to Dr. Andersen. In this letter, Scripps asserts that Dr. Andersen “objectively” investigated the origins and that Dr. Anthony Fauci did not attempt to influence his work. Both statements do not appear to be supported by the available evidence.
The Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic adds that "The Goal of Proximal Origin Was to 'Disprove' A Lab Theory." This is based on statements made by Dr. Kristian Anderson, the lead author.
"Our main work over the last couple of weeks has been focused on trying to disprove any type of lab theory…" Anderson wrote in a February 8, 2020 email.
The memorandum reveals how the researchers believed that the natural evolution hypothesis rested on dubious assertions.
On January 31, 2020, Andersen emailed the then-director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Dr. Anthony Fauci, to warn about the origins of the virus.
“Some of the features look engineered,” Andersen warned Fauci in the email.
The “genome looks inconsistent with evolutionary theory,” the scientist added. After the email, Andersen then spoke with Fauci on the phone regarding his findings about the virus. Just days later, Andersen changed his tune.
On February 1, Dr. Fauci emailed his long-time deputy, Dr. Hugh Auchincloss. In the email, Dr. Fauci attached a paper written by Dr. Ralph Baric and Dr. Zhengli-Li Shi – the so-called “bat woman” from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). The paper highlighted taxpayer-funded gain-of-function research on coronaviruses conducted by the WIV.
Dr. Fauci told Dr. Auchincloss: "It is essential that we speak this [morning]. Keep your cell phone on . . . read this paper . . . you will have tasks today that must be done."
After the phone calls arranged by Dr. Fauci (and all emails surrounding this phone call have thus far been redacted), Anderson flipped his story 180 degrees.
“The main crackpot theories going around at the moment related to this virus being somehow engineered… and that is demonstrably false,” Andersen wrote on February 4, 2020.
Anderson had previously received millions in grants from the National Institutes of Health and indeed received a grant for $1.88 million shortly after his call with Fauci. Dr. Andrew Huff, co-founder of Eco-Health Alliance, testified under oath that NIH funding for Dr. Anderson's total continuing research funding increased from approximately $7 million per year to nearly $24 million per year following the Fauci phone call.
Nonetheless, the authors would state definitively in the "Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2" paper that a lab leak theory for SARS-CoV-2's origins was "improbable."
"Our analyses clearly show that SARS-CoV-2 is not a laboratory construct or a purposefully manipulated virus," the authors wrote.
The researchers instead proposed a natural evolution hypothesis, while not revealing their doubts about their hypotheses in the paper.
"It is improbable that SARS-CoV-2 emerged through laboratory manipulation of a related SARS-CoV-like coronavirus," the researchers state.
"Instead, we propose two scenarios that can plausibly explain the origin of SARS-CoV-2: (i) natural selection in an animal host before zoonotic transfer; and (ii) natural selection in humans following zoonotic transfer," they added.
Furthermore, there appears to be evidence that the World Health Organization played an inappropriate role in drafting the research paper.
"The evidence available to the Select Subcommittee suggests that Dr. Farrar, the former Director of the Wellcome Trust and current Chief Scientist at the World Health Organization, was more involved in the drafting and publication of Proximal Original than previously known," the subcommittee stated.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Energy have recently come forward to back the "lab leak theory" of SARS-CoV-2 as the most probable, given the current state of evidence.
FBI Director Christopher Wray told Fox News last week that his bureau has determined the COVID-19 pandemic’s source was “most likely a potential lab incident in Wuhan,” China.
Now, following the FBI's determination that a lab leak is likely, the WHO is again seeking to intervene in the United States' investigation of the Covid virus's origins. The WHO is asking governments with intelligence on the virus to come forward, after a growing number of U.S. officials signaled it may have resulted from a Chinese lab leak.
“If any country has information about the origins of the pandemic, it’s essential for that information to be shared with WHO and the international scientific community,” WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated Friday, March 3.
This follows upon the WHO early on in the pandemic dismissing the reports of human-to-human transmission of Covid-19, and the body "taking the word" of the communist Chinese that the lab leak theory was unfounded.
Dr. Peter Daszak, who ran the EcoHealth Alliance subcontractor that Fauci funded to conduct risky gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and a member of the World Health Organization's investigative team into the virus's origins, admitted to buying the Communist Chinese's narrative in a 60 Minutes appearance with Lesley Stahl in 2021.
“For an accidental leak that then led to COVID to happen, the virus that causes COVID would need to be in the lab. They never had any evidence of a virus like COVID in the lab. ... Not prior to the outbreak, no. Absolutely. No evidence of that,” Daszak claimed.
“We met with them. We said, ‘Do you audit the lab?’ And they said, ‘Annually.’ ‘Did you audit it after the outbreak?’ ‘Yes.’ ‘Was anything found?’ ‘No.’ ‘Do you test your staff?’ ‘Yes.’ No one was —“ Daszak said, before being interrupted by Stahl.
“But you're just taking their word for it!” she exclaimed, and Daszak didn’t deny it.
“Well, what else can we do? There's a limit to what you can do, and we went right up to that limit,” Daszak said. “We asked them tough questions. They weren't vetted in advance. And the answers they gave, we found to be believable — correct and convincing.”
There is new research into the origins of SARS-CoV-2, replicated by Dr. Francis Balloux, that strongly supports the laboratory origins theory.
Princeton researcher Alex Washburne in October 2022 announced the pre-print publication of the study, which some skeptics are now crediting with changing their mind on the issue.
"We examined whether SARS-CoV-2 was synthesized in a lab," Washburne wrote. "We studied a common method for synthesizing CoVs in the lab. This method was thought to not leave a fingerprint. We found the fingerprint. That fingerprint is in the SARS-CoV-2 genome."
Professor Francois Balloux, a world renowned expert on Covid-19, gave his assessment of the study. Professor Balloux said that he could replicate its key findings.
“This is an important piece of work,” Balloux said. “To me, it looks solid both conceptually and methodologically. I was given advance warning and was able to replicate the key findings. To the best of my knowledge, I confirm the reported patterns are genuine.”
Dr. Anthony Fauci and other top scientists are expected to be called before the House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate to account for misleading the public on Covid-19. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is calling for Fauci to be prosecuted and jailed for his role in the coronavirus pandemic response.
At the Conservative Political Action Conference in National Harbor, Maryland, Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and J.D. Vance (R-OH) addressed the issue of accountability for Dr. Anthony Fauci.
"There should be accountability," Vance said. "It's that simple."
"Tony Fauci lied under oath to the American people," he continued. "And it's not just that. He compelled and persuaded the FBI to censor information about the pandemic as it was unfolding. He tried to shut down, used his government power, to shut down the functioning of the First Amendment so that we could not have an honest debate about where Covid came from and what to do about it."
"And I think it's absolutely disgraceful what Tony Fauci did," he added. Vance expressed his lack of faith in Attorney General Merrick Garland to do the right thing about it.
Senator Cruz expanded on Vance's remarks.
"Dr. Fauci has done more damage than any bureaucrat in the history of our nation," Cruz remarked. "He led policies that destroyed people's lives, that hurt tens of millions of kids across this country, that destroyed businesses, and he lied repeatedly, over and over and over again. Now, one of the consequences is he elevated politics above science and medicine."
“There has been no person who has done more to destroy trust in the scientific and medical community than Dr. Anthony Fauci, who told millions of Americans lies willingly, knowingly, glibly, and supremely arrogantly," Cruz argued. “In any sane system, he would be prosecuted for lying under oath, and he would go to jail for lying under oath to Congress."
“We have a majority in the House, and I am confident that we’re going to use that majority and use it to hold Dr. Fauci and the others who lied accountable," Cruz added.
In the final analysis, it may mean the Republican Party taking back more than the House and Senate to see Fauci prosecuted and jailed. America needs to elect a new president who appoints an attorney general who is actually interested in seeing Dr. Anthony Fauci brought to justice.
one can only hope!!! this guy should be investigated alllllll the way back to his AIDS days and the deaths he is responsible for.
Jailed AND have his government pension stripped and clawback at least the salaries he was paid since the beginning of the pandemic!
